“Pedal into Spring” – Cycling Forum in Mórahalom

With the arrival of March, spring and the cycling season also arrive in our town. In 2026, major improvements are expected in Mórahalom and its surroundings regarding cycling services, along with exciting programs and events aimed at cycling enthusiasts.

To ensure that local service providers are well prepared to cycling guests, a service provider forum titled “Pedal into Spring” was held on Monday, March 2, at 17:00 in the basement hall of the Ezer Év Parkja.

At the forum, participants could learn about:

- Regional active tourism cycling developments – presented by Béla Csáki, Vice President of the Csongrád-Csanád County Assembly and coordinator of regional cooperation.

- Practical information about the Tour de Homokhát starting from Mórahalom on May 16 and cycling-related needs – presented by Zoltán Börcsök and Edina Paraginé Tóth “Tündérboszi.”

- Expectations and certification of cycle-friendly services – presented by Irén Veres, board member of Maketusz.

- Other current topics – presented by Mariann Balogh-Stampf, Managing Director of Móra-Tourist Nonprofit Ltd., including new special bicycle rental options from Móra Bringa, with hybrid trekking and electric fatbike models becoming available in Mórahalom.

The event attracted great interest and contributed to ensuring that local service providers are even better prepared to welcome cycling visitors during the spring season.
